Awful, awful news. A cowardly act has taken an innocent young life in our community. Her life may have been taken by an act of violence, but I hope this young girl has found peace now. My thoughts are with her mother and her family after this enormous tragedy. Each and every one of us has a personal responsibility to prevent and end domestic violence. Listen to those around you, reach out to those in need, and do everything you can to help anyone in danger find safety. RIP.
