Aye so: Over all the debate served as a condensed form of the campaign so far. Smugly positive Salmond versus indignant neurotic Darling. He of the mismatched hair (whose super proud to be a Jock not that you asked or could tell) doubled down on the risks of independence and BT talking points while ignoring the flailingly obvious problems that come with Scotland being part of a Union which often works against our interests. Big Eck was Big Eck; defiantly, dismissively, reassuring which works wonders with Yessers and Dont Knows but lead to him being gutted over the currency question which might lead to us losing the whole damn thing. On top of that he stuck with the established party line, rather than break out his economic credentials and experience, when it came to the brass tacks questions which will decide the referendum. The audience was heavily, and obviously, managed to maintain a balance between centrist Yessers and petty middle-class Unionists (not a single billy boy in sight surprisingly) while STVs production values left much to be desired. #ScotDecides
