BACK TO YOUR ROOTS.Have u gone for a burial lately and u a welcomed by a huge contigent of police guards? This is a sign that some big govt official is present.It becomes very painfull where the host has been neglecting his/her village and has been forced back home to bury a relative.Besides the experience i passed thru yesterday,i must recal the three challenging burials i saw few months ago.MUKONO:from makerere university.He was buried in a forest at Lusanja,Ntonto parish.Many professors attended.RUKUNGIRI:at nyakagyeme,residents refused to participate in burial.They even refused all the meat and drinks that were there.Cause of this punishment?Children in the bereaved home were regarded proud,never attended village burial and never bothered to visit bereaved homes whenever they came after burial.MPIGI:Butambala.This headteacher of a huge school had not participated in the building of a local mosque.Residents refused to attend burial of this HTs kid.Visitors who brought the body dug the grave & cooked food.
