BARGAINS GALORE AT THE DIAMOND CREEK OPPORTUNITY SHOP The architect designed Opportunity Shop, open from Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 4pm has emerged into an instant success. It has been exciting to set up the new shop and to renew friendships with former volunteers and customers. Quality donations are enabling us to raise large sums of money to support Austin Health in providing good health care to the community. Volunteers take their recycling role seriously, and as little as possible goes to landfill. An extension of the new building is anticipated in the near future, which will allow additional shop space, a spacious sorting area and a good sized receiving depot. Eventually the original shop, currently in "mothballs" will be renovated and linked to the new shop. When renovated, the Heritage listed building will provide even more room to display quality donated goods for sale. Warm clothing, books, furniture and bric a brac are plentiful for the bargain seeking customers It is with great pride that we invite you to visit our shop, and avail yourselves of our friendly service.
