Whats on my mind.....a dilema....We recently had our 2 dogs accidently poisened i now have a chance to get a 3month old mixed variety dog. However living in the outskirts of a small town many houses, like ours are not closed in therefore many dogs roam around. A vast majority of these people cannot really afford to look after their dogs the same as most of us in Europe, but they do say they use them for protection of their property (god knows why as they have nothing to steal, in general that is). My property is also not fenced in but we do have items of worth so in a way i do need a dog for house protection, however he will also galivant around the neighbourhood and could well be attacked by more ferrel dogs. Should i have this dog or not is the question?.....
