BBC (Adam Curtis) interview with Saif al Islam Gaddafi about the downing of PanAm 103 over Lockerbie: - Saif says that he thinks Libya was not involved.. He says further that Abdelbaset al-Megrahi, the poor guy, was incapable of such a sophisticated operation. - He explains why his father wrote a letter to the UN Security Council stating that Libya takes responsibility for the actions of its officials, and why Libya agreed to pay compensation to the victims. This was needed to lift the economic sanctions on Libya, to turn the page and become friends with the West. He says if anyone thinks this is wrong, they should blame the British and Americans who have veto rights at the security council and who demanded these things and set the rules of the game. - He accuses the majority of the victims families to be greedy and of blackmailing Libya. He says that they should instead work together with Libya to find the real perpetrators. However, only money are their game. - Finally, he says that Libyan and Western relations are now excellent, that a new page is turned, that they have become friends and even allies, especially in the war on terrorism. youtu.be/BHRKClCWL2U
