BE MINDFUL THIS TIME!!!! THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED IN THE LAST ELECTION!!!!!!!! ELECTORAL FRAUD The Dominica Labour Party plans to airlift hundreds of US based Dominicans to vote in the December 18, 2009 election at no cost to them thereby exchanging bribes for their votes. Bribery is clearly defined in section 55 of Dominica’s House of Assembly Elections Act and there is no question that these Dominican electors are being offered a valuable advantage to induce them to vote for the Dominica Labour Party. Imperial Jets of New York has agreed to provide charter services out of JFK Airport for this purpose. Their quotation of November 19, 2009 for round trip service to Dominica (B737 100 pax) and Martinique (A320 180 pax) on December 17 – 20, amounting to US$399,616.00 is adequate evidence of participation in this scheme to offend Dominica’s election law and must be used in the context of aiding and abetting crimes by US residents in foreign lands There is also the illegal conduct of Consul General at the New York Mission, Barbara Dailey, a Dominica public servant, who has been using the states time and resources for the Labour Party activity (on US soil) of contacting the individuals, canvassing their support and organizing charters for them to be flown to Dominica to vote. Legal action is being pursued locally against the Dominica Labour Party, its members and its agents, both locally and overseas to ensure that our elections are conducted by the rule of law and in accordance with the Constitution. Urgent legal action is needed as well in the US to prevent this crime from defeating the public interest of a free and fair election based on the rule of law.
