BE WISE AND HUMBLE IN WALKING THE FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST! IT IS EXPEDIENT FOR YOU TO BE EFFECTIVE!!! Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight. Isaiah 5:20,21 NIV Some people exist to deceive others; so be very careful not to be so gullible to whatever people say or do! Investigate to be sure that the truth is established! Deceivers abound; just as liars and hypocrites! Also, you have the arrogant and prideful; who are wise and clever in their own eyes. Do not be one nor be like them. Father, Protect us from such in Jesus Name. Amen!!! A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself, But the simple pass on and are punished. By humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches and honor and life. Thorns and snares are in the way of the perverse; He who guards his soul will be far from them. Proverbs 22:3-5 NKJV It is wisdom not foolishness to hide yourself away from evil; rather than think that by confronting evil head on, you are being wise and Godly! Even at war, the wise ones know when to battle and when to retreat! Humility and the fear of the Lord is great gain; just like godliness with contentment - and by them both God Bestows riches, honour and life in Jesus Name. Amen! Guard your soul against perversions of any type whatsoever; then you will avoid thorns and snares in your paths. Father, Help us to fear You and be humble; so to avoid diverse predicaments in life in Jesus Name. Amen!!! Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Bear ye one anothers burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. Galatians 6:1-3 KJV When trying to help someone else out of sin or trouble, guard your spirit lest you be tempted. Bear each others burdens and not look out for number one as peddled in the world! Christ connotes and advocates for oneness and unity of purpose. Love and help one another! Father, Help us not to think of ourselves as some big deal and to be completely humble so as not to deceive ourselves in Jesus Name. Amen!!! For it is not he who commends himself that is approved, but he whom the Lord commends. 2 Corinthians 10:18 NASB Men and women love to commend and recommend each other to boost their mutual egos! Hmmm! What counts is not that at all; but rather, who God commends and or recommends! Did man call you or commend and recommend you or is your call and commendation or recommendation from the Lord God Almighty! Hmmmm! Who recognises the one Called and Commended or Recommended by God Almighty in todays world? Father, Help us to desire and trust only in Your Call, Commendation and or Recommendation in Jesus Name. Amen!!! He who disdains instruction despises his own soul, But he who heeds rebuke gets understanding. The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom, And before honor is humility. Proverbs 15:32,33 NKJV Whomsoever disdains correction hates himself; but the one that yields to instruction and correction gets wiser and learns more. Fear God; for that is where the Wisdom of God begins. Pride begets a fall; even as humility begets honour! Lord, Help us to be humble and fear God; so that we may learn the Wisdom of God and gain honour in Jesus Name. Amen!!! While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, Take and eat; this is my body. Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Fathers kingdom. When they had sung a hymn, they went out to the Mount of Olives. Matthew 26:26-30 (NIVUK) The Holy Communion is not about ceremonial rites at all; its about sharing food and dring in godliness, righteousness, holiness and in love, with brethren of like minds in Jesus Christs Holy Name! Jesus Led us by example right in the above Scriptures! Let us come together in love and purity of hearts within ourselves and towards each other and break bread and drink the cup together in unity and in love in Jesus Name. Amen! Help us to do this increasingly o Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen!!! (25) Now in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went to them, walking on the sea. (26) And when the disciples saw Him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a ghost! And they cried out for fear. (27) But immediately Jesus spoke to them, saying, Be of good cheer! It is I; do not be afraid. (28) And Peter answered Him and said, Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water. (29) So He said, Come. And when Peter had come down out of the boat, he walked on the water to go to Jesus. (30) But when he saw that the wind was boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink he cried out, saying, Lord, save me! (31) And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, O you of little faith, why did you doubt? Matthew 14:25-31 NKJV This is where the words holy ghost came from! When Jesus Christ was crucified, of course, it was very public; so when people suddenly saw Him Walking on water, they thought they had seen his ghost. They knew what ghosts were! They knew that ghosts were sightings of dead people as if alive! Jesus assured them that He was the one and not a ghost! Peter desired to go to Him on the water too and Jesus Called him; but he feared and began to sink. He cried out and Jesus Saved him and said to him o ye of little faith! So we must never doubt nor fear anything or anyone but God alone! Clearly, also, there is no such thing as holy ghost; but rather Holy Spirit! Jesus Christ Rose from the dead and is alive not a ghost! How can His Spirit then be a ghost! Error of errors! Lord, help us to humble ourselves to yield to the Holy Spirit and not to see Your Holy Spirit as a ghost anymore in Jesus Name. Amen!!!
