Especially when they revolve around a persons identity. Thats what draws me to documentary style photography. I love the beauty and nostalgia of beautifully crafted photos and so am drawn to vintage styled images. But I also love stories that challenge the notion of what real beauty is...soft and dreamy or raw and visceral.
