BENEFIT OF LOVE Dearly beloved, In the book of Galatians 5:22 the Apostle Paul says the fruit of the Spirit is Love, Joy, Peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control against such there is no law (that can bring a charge). In the book of John 15:12 Jesus says this is my commandment that you love one another as I have loved you. The chambers dictionary defines commandment as an order or command; beloved it is clear from this definition that our Lord Jesus Christ commanded or ordered us as believers to love one another and when He gave that commandment He was not only referring to the members of our church alone or the local assembly where we worship but to everyone who is a believer in Christ Jesus. In other words what I am trying to say is we are to love believers in other local assemblies like deeper life church, Trem church or redeemed Christian church etc. 1Thess. 4:9-10 please take note when Apostle Paul wrote about the fruit of the Spirit the very first fruit He mentioned is LOVE. I have come to realize in my journey to perfection and maturity that every other fruit of the Spirit emanates from LOVE. The reason is according to the book of 1John4:7-8 its clear that God is Love. If you love the brethren you are born of God and know God but if you do not love the brethren you don’t know God for God is Love. Let me explain a little further John3:16 tell us for God so loved the world but He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. The moment we were born again we were born with eternal life in us as believers in Christ that life came with Love, Faith, and Hope. So the moment we are born in the Spirit you become alive in the Spirit as a new born baby. 1Peter2:2 As new born babes desire the sincere milk of the word that ye may grow thereby. The Spirit of God expect that as new born babes we begin to stand, walk and then run. When we walk in Love we are walking in the Spirit, the problem is that some people have never walked since they were born again now by walk I mean moving away from self, flesh, and stagnancy. In the Spirit you are expected to take little steps, one way we express the flow of the Spirit is LOVE. When somebody is practicing Love He is making movement which means that person is journeying then after you walk then you run in the Spirit. The Problem is some of us have not even started standing talk less of walking it is because you walk in Love that’s why you can have Faith because Love believeth all things. Why God demands Love is because it is a commitment to the sacrifices He has made for us. Love is a life of responsibility. If you want to find somebody who is responsible in the Spirit you will see somebody who can bare others or his brother or sister because the bible says Love suffers long. The truth is without Love for the brethren our growth stagnates spiritually or we will remain as to carnal Christians or babes in Christ. Dearly beloved even Satan is very much aware of what I am telling you, this is why he has attacked the Spirit of Love in the church today. I have come to discover that Faith and Love don’t work in isolation. Love is the Wheel that drives the vehicle of Faith if we neglect Love as we journey by faith as believers our growth stagnates please beloved listen to me very carefully. Love is tied to our faith as we journey into perfection and maturity. The will of God is that the church will operate in Love so much that we will no longer remain babes but by Love we grow into perfection and maturity. It is clear in the book of Ephesians 4: 11-16 and also 1Cor. 1:1-3 Paul admonishes the Corinthians believers he calls them babes in Christ, he says he fed them with milk and not solid food so he could not speak to them as spiritual people. Also in the book of Hebrew 5:11-14 Paul admonishes the church when he says in verse 13 and 14 reading from amplified bible for everyone who continues to feed on milk is obviously inexperience and unskilled in the doctrine of righteousness (that is, of conformity to the divine will in purpose, thought and action) for he is a mere infant- not able to talk. Verse 14 but solid food is for full-grown men, for those whose senses and mental faculties are trained by practice to discriminate and distinguish between what is morally good and noble and what is evil and contrary either to divine on human law. Dearly beloved, if we as a church must come to perfection we must put on Love because it is clear that our growth as believers in Christ is tied to Love. In the book of 1Cor. 13 Paul admonishes the Corinthians church about Love please read the whole chapter very carefully and pay close attention to 1Cor.13 verse 4, 10 and 13. In Verse 13 and Now abideth faith, hope, love, but the greatest of these is Love. Beloved in 1Cor.12:31 Paul says but earnestly desire the best gift and yet I show you a more excellent way, 1Cor.14:1 Pursue love, and desire spiritual gifts but especially that you may prophesy. Now when you juxtapose this two scriptures together you will discover beloved that Paul says I will show you a more excellent way which means there are other ways you can get spiritual gifts either by prayer and fasting, you can ask and it will given to you. Paul says walk in Love you will become a stream of these things (spiritual gifts) by the time you have Love base it will key you into spiritual gifts so in chapter 14 of 1Cor. Love has been established to be the more excellent way which is a sure way to excel in the spirit. Beloved as I journey into perfection and maturity I have come to realize the Power of Love as it propels my faith to maturity, my love for the brethren increases on a daily basis and as my love increases for the brethren I have discovered that the Lord establishes my heart more and more in righteousness and true Holiness please read 1Thess. 3:7-13. Now in the book of 1John 2: 9-11 reading from the amplified bible the Apostle John says whoever is in the light and yet hates his brother (Christian, Born again child of God, his own father) is in darkness even until now. Whoever loves his brother (believer) abides (lives) in the light and in it or in him there is no occasion for stumbling or cause for error or sin. But he who hates (detest, despises) his brother in Christ is in darkness and walking (living) in the dark he is straying and does not perceive or no where he is going because the darkness has blinded his eyes. Beloved, please pay close attention to what I am about to say the Apostle Paul says he that hates his brother is in darkness until now. Please note it does not exclude anybody and it does not matter if you have been born again for donkeys years, or if you pastor the largest congregation or you are a bishop, or you have been anointed mightily by God to open blind eyes or raise the dead or you sing in the choir or you are the leader of cell groups in your church in whatever capacity you have been chosen by God to lead. The Apostle John says if you hate your brother you are in darkness until now. Darkness is the activity of the devil, the works of Satan it is an operation of wickedness, when a believer lives in hatred, bitterness, malice, jealousy, envy, he operates in darkness. Please beloved listen very carefully because if you must journey into perfection and maturity this are the things you must deal with because Satan has crafted deep into our soul these things. It does not matter how heavily anointed a man is you cannot cast out hatred, anger, malice and bitterness because they are higher operations of the devil, that’s the reason why I call them works of Satan because they are spiritual works that has been weaved into the souls of men. Ephesians 2:1-3 explains it better, the only way you can deal with these works is to reverse them not cast them out and the only fruit of the Spirit that reverses these works of Satan is Love. What disperses darkness is Love. When a believer walks in Love he turns his soul to the opposite direction of darkness to the direction of light. Beloved do you want to deal with diseases, pain, sickness, all kinds of things that Satan brings against you? Do you want to deal with darkness? Do you want to deal with offenses that come against you go against them you will detonate their force in the spirit because these works of the flesh have root and they have grip and the grip they have over you is because of the place you are standing (darkness) in the Spirit. Beloved please picture the children of Israel being led by pillar of cloud by day and fire by night. If the cloud should move and they don’t move what do you think will happen to the children of Israel in the wilderness of course naturally they will die or get lost. This is what is happening to believers today in the spirit because we are not walking by Love we will remain stagnant and the cloud of the Holy Spirit will move ahead of us. Hebrews 12:15 Says lest any root of bitterness springing up cause trouble, and by these many become defiled. When you walk in Love in the Spirit they will begin to naturally die from the root. Gifts of the Spirit will clear them away from the natural but they can grow back. Anointing breaks the yoke but it does not establish the base because you need something to occupy that same place where the Spirit inhabit one of the ways to change habitation is to move from that terrain, journey in the Spirit is our deliverance when we make movement in the Spirit this spirits die to the root. The door to the supernatural life is Love (Love opens the door to the Spirit, when you love your brother, when you don’t envy,) you are closing the gate of darkness. When the gates of pride come you close the gates of pride and when you close all darkness gates the more excellent way which is a sure way to excel in the Spirit will propel you into eternal life. you don’t walk in the Spirit and not prosper. 3John 2 my friends you see when you walk in Love you close the gates of Hell, the gates of malice, bitterness, envy, jealousy, pride etc. These are not ordinary operations of Satan and I am not talking about going to Hell physically I am talking about operating in darkness as a believer some people are operating in darkness, by the way they practice ministry or do Christianity and by these many have entered that way that seemeth right to a man they navigate these doors of Hell. They open them and they are operating in them. Dearly beloved do you hate cancer? Don’t walk in hatred and unforgiveness, one of the things that brings that evil disease called cancer is hatred and unforgiveness, when you hate too much Spirits come to perch in your heart because the condition of your heart is what attracts either God or Satan. When Spirits come to perch all kinds of diseases and evil begins to develop in man. Dearly beloved in closing let me say that the problem we have as believer’s lies with our walk in the Spirit, do you want to walk in deliverance, divine health, and do you want the work of your hands to prosper then walk in Love. Walk in the Light then you will discover that things will happen easily, many of us have prayed and things are not coming to pass its because of some of this problems are tied to our walk in the Spirit. My friends put on Love for surely it is the bond of Perfection Colossians 3:14.
