BETWEEN ASUU AND FG. ACTIVITY OR PRODUCTIVITY? In every country - TopicsExpress

BETWEEN ASUU AND FG. ACTIVITY OR PRODUCTIVITY? In every country citizen are given some basic right to voice out their opinion on the way and manner in which their government manage the affairs of their so-called father land, I want use such as provided in section 39 of the constitution of federal republic of Nigeria 1999 as amended It is true that as soon as someone is overwhelmed of the joy of being offer admission into Nigerian university to study a degree certificate than a note of uncertainty enter his mind on the obstacle along his way to his graduation date. The obstacle which is known even to non-student or a university under graduate is “ASUU STRIKE” which is no longer new to any undergraduate student pursuing degree programme in Nigerian University The issue is so disturb that some public are asking “who is right ASUU OR FG?” to rephrase the question one can ask” is ASUU strike justify of FG is not serious about education?” In all this, I observe that, one of the most repetitive word use by FG over the media is that “the strike is all about salaries increment” by the member of the academic staff (ASUU) which is far from the truth every undergraduate student know that. On the other hand, the ASUU repeatedly reiterate the issue of inadequate funding of university and poor standard of educational facilities and infrastructure If the general public will be confuse to as who is right, the Nigerian undergraduate student like me (Paul Isaac Adaji) knows the obvious answer that “ASUU IS ON THE RIGHT TRACK” Being a university student for the past 3 years, I qualify to tell a tale, but I learned something about the ongoing fight, a fight for justice and equity and more importantly the justification of ASUU strike. The problem is that “either the FG or the general publics are unable to differentiate between “PRODUCTIVITY AND ACTIVITY” which is two different things. ASUU say their activity is not as productive as it should be using either the international standard or local minimum standard because of inadequate of fund, I agree with them 100% Not every activity is productivity, but every productivity needs an activity, you agree. FG should learn that ASUU’S demand is meet their productive capacity of graduating qualitative graduate with qualitative educational tools to compete with any other graduate world wide As undergraduate with a lot of civil expectation and humanistic productive capacity, we receive lectures under intensive circumstances and condition with no FAN, AC AUDIOBLE MIC, LOUD SPEAKER IN ADEQUATE AND COMFORTABLE SEATING CHAIRS, and OR VENTILATED LECTURE HALL. Our lecturers have to speak at the top of their voice for them to be heard all over the hall. They sweat from their head to underarm till you pity them even though you consider them employed and admire their position We know that FG has the civil, financial, governmental capacity to provide all these, if not why? If polytechnique can be on strike for more than 4month without government attention to their demand and also ASUU embark on another strike that is to blame, can ASUU and POLY both be wrong and FG is RIGHT? I THEREFORE BACK, SUPPORT, ENDORSED, THE ON GOING TOTAL, COMPREHENSIVE, INDEFINATE AND HIGHLY JUSTIFIED ASUU STRIKE ALUTA CONTINUE VICTORIA ACERTA TILL OUR DEMAND ARE MADE HAIL ASUU…………. HAIL ASUU HAIL…………….. ASUU………………. Let’s our voice be heard
