BHAKTI SUMMER CAMP WITH Govind Das and Radha July 3-6 at Far Horizons Retreat Center in beautiful Sequoia National Park During this transformative, heart-based weekend, Govind Das and Radha sensitively and courageously will guide participants through practices and rituals of Bhakti yoga, the yoga of the love and devotion. The mornings will begin with bhakti-based vinyasa yoga to energize and open the body and will lead into the practices of mantra and kirtan (call and response chanting). As we awaken, develop, and deepen our connection to Spirit, we will study teachings on the Indian God/Goddesses, reflect on passages from the Bhagavad Gita, muse with poetry from the bhakti saints, and bathe in meditations and prayers from the heart. This weekend open is to all levels of yoga practitioners and will be grounded in a rich devotional mood of love, compassion, peace, and joy. The intention for this workshop is to create the foundation for all participants to enjoy the heart-opening benefits of Bhakti yoga, so be prepared to sing, dance, laugh, stretch, and flow, and to enjoy a weekend of community and the sweetness of Bhakti!
