What (sort of) deeds in or (what qualities of) Islam are good? He replied, To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you dont know. Bukhari :: Book 1 :: Volume 2 :: Hadith 27 Narrated Aisha(RA): The Prophet said, Fever is from the heat of the (Hell) Fire, so cool it with water.(Saheeh Bukhaari) Sahih Bukhari_Volume 1, Book 3, Number 73: Narrated Abdullah bin Masud: The Prophet said, Do not wish to be like anyone except in two cases. (The first is) A person, whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it righteously; (the second is) the one whom Allah has given wisdom (the Holy Quran) and he acts according to it and teaches it to others. (Fateh-al-Bari page 177 Vol. 1) Volume 1, Book 3, Number 74: ‘Abd-Allaah ibn Mas’ood (radiAllahu ánhu) said: The Prophet (sallAllahu ályhi wasallam) said: •►“He is not one of us who strikes his cheeks, tears his garment, or cries with the cry of the Jaahiliyyah.” -Al-Bukhaari (1294) and Muslim (103) Here are some easy and very beneficial Dhikr and glorification we can do throughout the last ten odd nights: 1. Allahumma innaka afuwwun tuhibbul afwa fafu annee 2. Subhanallah 3. Alhamdulillah 4. Allahu Akbar 5. Laa ilaha ilallah 6. LA HAWLA WA LA QUWWATA ILLA BILLAH 7. Asthaghfirullah 8. SUB-HANALLAH HIL AZEEM WA BI-HAMDIHI, 9. Subhāna-llāhi, wa-l-hamdu li-llāhi, wa lā ilāha illā-llāhu, wa-llāhu akbar. Wa lā hawla wa lā quwwata illā bi-llāhi-l-aliyyi-l-azīm 10. Lā ilāha illā-llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lahu lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-ḥamdu yuhyi wa yumītu wa huwa ḥayyu-llā yamūtu abadan abada, ḏū-l-jalāli wa-l-ikrām, biyadihi-l-khayr, wa huwa alā kulli Shay-in qadīr . Reported by Abu Umamah (Radi Allah Anhu): The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) was asked: At what time does the supplication find the greatest response? He (peace be upon him) replied, A supplication made during the middle of the last part of the night and after the conclusion of the obligatory prayers. . [Tirmidhi] Those who spend their wealth (in Allahs Cause) by night and day, in secret and in public, they shall have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve. . --Quran: chap.2 verse 274 When Allah commands, there is none to reverse it. Allah is the Master of all planing. – Al Qur’an 13:38/43 “Allahs Apostle! I have two neighbors; which of them should I give a gift to? The Prophet said, (Give) to the one whose door is nearer to you”. Sahih Al Bukhari Vol.3, Book 51, No. 2595 For Allah loves those who turn to Him constantly and He loves those who keep themselves pure and clean. (Al Qur’an 2:222) “Whoever takes people’s wealth with the intention of destroying it, Allah will destroy him”. Sunan Ibn Majah Vol. no. 3, Hadith no. 2411 wassalamu alaikum warah matullahi wabarakatuhu .
