✲✲✲ BLACKIE ✲✲✲ & his owner were growing old together till his owner got sick~~now Blackie, with tears in his eyes, is all alone and scared! A volunteer writes: Blackie sits immobile in the middle of his kennel. He looks so lost....He is a bit wary to be leashed but eventually comes along. He is one cute little old chap covered with a very silky and clean grey and anthracite coat. Blackie appears healthy and well nourished. He looks like he has been well cared for by his ailing master. Blackie trots nicely and even does stairs but he is aimless, not recognizing his familiar environment and the person at the other side of the leash. How confusing it must be for an aging brain...I have to pull him closer to pet him and make him feel better. Blackie relaxes a little under the stroke of my fingers...I hope that soon enough Blackie will be home, his former or a new one...and be again a beloved pet.
