BLANKET THE STREETS NEEDS YOUR HELP! On Thursday night we hit the streets with food, socks, shoes, coats and clothes. The wind chill was -6 degrees! We didnt think many of the homeless would be out in that cold, but they were. They were coming from everywhere shivering and hungry. Our toes and fingers were numb as we tried to make sure everyone had a meal, blanket or coat before Penn Station closed the waiting room sending all to seek shelter in whatever hole they could find. All of us are a couple paychecks from homeless unless we have a mother who loves us enough to open the door. Donate to Blanket the Streets by purchasing a ticket to our fundraiser, or donate anything from $1.00 and up. We need supplies!
