BOCH DEVOTIONAL: “The power that keeps you” The power that got you saved is the same power that keeps you saved. You did not invest anything when coming into salvation, you only believed and you ought to know that no one comes to Jesus, except the father draws him (John 6:44). So it is evident that it is the power of God that draws you unto himself. This is the very same power that keeps you saved (1 Pet 1:5, Jude 1:24). The same way you believed on God unto salvation, is the same way you believe on him unto being kept. You cannot keep yourself; it is the power of God. He has appointed you unto salvation not wrath so he will do everything to keep you, only believe. My sheep hear my voice and know me and no one can pluck them out of my hand because the father is greater than all (John 10:27-29). It is the power of God that keeps you. Confession: I am kept by the power of my father and I will never be moved.
