BOGUS COLLECTORS ON THE STREETS Recently, there has been reports of bogus collectors on the streets of Cork and Galway The collectors approach pedestrians with a card with Irish Deaf Society on it, pretend to be Deaf and ask for donations. These collections are very damaging to our organisation as we have many worthy projects which all need funding and this money would greatly benefit the Irish Deaf Community. If you do see these fraudsters please contact your local Garda station and our office 01 8601878 or 086 785 1713 with a description (including a car registration if available) and the location. To safely donate to the Irish Deaf Society (IDS) please contact us. The Irish Deaf Society currently have no street collections anywhere in Ireland.
