The Independence County Foster and Adoptive Parents Association - TopicsExpress

The Independence County Foster and Adoptive Parents Association will have its annual fish and chicken dinner fund raiser from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 6 at Pavilion 1 in Riverside Park at Batesville. The meal will be provided by John 3:16 Ministries. Tickets are $7. For more information or to purchase tickets, call Charles Dean at (870) 834-3625 or email [email protected]. The association exists to support and serve the children in foster care and pre-adoptive placement in Independence County and the surrounding area. The organization raises funds to meet emergency needs of children entering foster care; supports the continuing education needs of the families that care for children; provides medical needs and other necessities that arise; and provides other opportunities for children in need.
