My understanding here is that there is a form of exchange going on but in reality this is skewed. Africa seem to be the receiver but the OPERATIVE word is EXCHANGE. AFRICA in the receivers end is giving up the reins in the ends of a foreign companies which might again lead to a sophisticated form of COLONASATION. Same devil different name. Globalization may lead to loss of cultural identity as Western ideas are always imposed upon the African thoughts.
