BOLT: (A0714030) ****RETURNED????? THIS BOY???**** A volunteer writes: “Bolt was adopted several years ago and was recently found tied to the gate of the Brooklyn ACC. Its hard to imagine anyone leaving this boy - he is so friendly and charming!! Bolt tends to carry one ear up and one flopped over and always looks like he is flashing a crooked smile. He solicits attention from his cage and is very social. He seems very housetrained and has good leash manners. Bolt loves treats and will sometimes demand more with a bark - cant blame an old man for having a sense of entitlement! He is friendly when encountering other dogs, and I think he might even be able to keep up with some half his age! Bolt is still very full of life and still very versed in play bowing! He loves to be pet - always responding with a waggy tail, sometimes leaning into me and sometimes finding his way into my lap! If Im able to find the spot on his back hell scratch along with his back leg. I cannot for the life of me who would decide to give up this great guy!!! He tolerates all handling, is a laid back kinda dude, nothing bothers him, he is always smiling and wanting to please. It is sad to think this might be his last night on earth. 10 years in not enough time on this earth, he has many more good years left. But without help he will surely die. Bolt is such a Great Guy the ACC will let you reserve him online without the help of a rescue, but don’t wait too late, because if you do, a rescue will have to step in and help. By why wait? The clock is ticking!!! Reserve him now!!! Don’t let this be the last place Bolt calls home, break him out of jail.
