BORNO 2015: BIU REJECTS APC, DEPUTY GOVERNOR Borno state deputy governor, Alhaji Zannah Umar Mustapha has been humiliated by the people of his constituency in Biu local government area of Borno state by the people of the area over what they described as the failure of the APC led government to provide dividends of democracy to the people of the area. The people who hauled abuses on the deputy governor when he visited the area while coming from Yola, where he went to evacuate internally displaced people, IDPs to Maiduguri with the hope of using them for the general elections as well as to sell the candidency of the member representing the area in the state house of assembly, Hon. Aliyu Mamman Kachallah for a second term met a brick world. According to reports from Biu, the deputy governor was broken when the people of the area in their anger gave him the breakdown of what the government, which he was part failed to do for the people. Zannah broke into tears because when he was going round even those people he bought cars to, could not accompany him. They did not follow him, instead they were abusing him because the Shettima led administration has failed the people. The Gunda road which he promise the people, he could not complete. He promise water, health and education, instead he was dismissing teachers, he was not employing health workers, no water so, the people have waited for this time because they know that, they would come by to seek re-election.
