BOTTOM LINE: The night of Ferguson Grand Jury verdict (when rioting, vandalism, theft and arson followed), Nixon, McCaskill, Koster (and other Democratic Party elected officials) had already decided to NOT deploy the national guard that Nixon had called up a week earlier in a STATE OF EMERGENCY. Furthermore, although neither Nixon nor anyone from his staff would talk to, or return calls to, the frantic Mayor of Ferguson during the riots, Nixon WAS talking to Obamas Senior Advisor, Valerie Jarrett. He spoke to her again the following morning - although still not returning calls to the Ferguson mayor who was still attempting to reach Nixon. Nixon had also given assurances to the fire department that they would have protection while they put out fires, protection that never arrived because Nixon had called up but did not deploy the Guard (which the newly discovered email indicates had been decided at least a week earlier). As a result, Ferguson burned and innocent business owners livelihoods were destroyed.
