**** BOUGHT FROM A PET STORE, SURRENDERED DUE TO ALLERGIES... WHO WILL BE HER SAVIOR TONIGHT? **** Precious is a 12-month-old baby girl who was surrendered to the ACC when someone in her former home became allergic to her. That must be terribly confusing for a loyal friend like Precious, to be loved one moment and then left behind the next. Despite that vexing change of circumstance, Precious has done her best to be friendly toward the people she meets because thats who she is: loving, trusting and loyal. Even ACC staff members had great things to say about her. A staff member writes: Precious is very energetic with an interest in toys particularly in tennis balls. After some time of running off her energy and interacting with her environment, Precious will come over to her handler and allow petting with a soft and loose body. To daily handlers she will wag vigorously when greeted and is very friendly. This special girl did very well in her behavior evaluation. In fact, she aced all the tests thrown at her, earning the average rating only given to the most well-behaved dogs. Precious has lived with cats & other dogs in the past. However, those winning qualities wont save her life when they take her to the euthanasia room tomorrow afternoon. Dont let this happen to her.
