BOXSCORE: harbourcats.bbstats.pointstreak/boxscore.html?gameid=208835 The Victoria HarbourCats Baseball Club started their post-All-Star segment with an all-star-like start from an all-star-worthy starting pitcher. Mikey Wright, who was not named to Team North for the all-star game but was definitely deserving, pitched the HarbourCats to a 6-0 victory that improves the teams record to 17-20 on the season. Wright went six strong innings on 90 pitches, allowing five hits, four walks, and striking out one. Carson Schneider threw the last three innings for the save. The HarbourCats helped Wright with a 14-hit attack, led by Nathan Lukes, who was 3-6 with a two-run home run, and three runs driven in overall. Hunter Mercado-Hood, Wyler Smith, Noah Cummings and Sean Watkins each had two hits. Right-hander Alex FaGalde gets his first start of the season on Wednesday as the second game of the three-game set goes in Longview, WA. The HarbourCats are five games out of the final playoff spot, the wildcard berth, with 17 games to play. The HarbourCats are home on Friday on Black Press Carrier Night, with a free set of baseball cards given to the first 1,500 in attendance. The Corvallis Knights provide the opposition, and all-star pitcher Alex Rogers will be the starting pitcher for Victoria. The series continues Saturday night and Sunday afternoon at Sports Traders Diamond at Royal Athletic Park, with tickets available at the office, at the gate, or at harbourcats/tickets STANDINGS: harbourcats.bbstats.pointstreak/standings.html?leagueid=145&seasonid=26711
