In Last 30 Days Modi Government has taken some important decisions: 1) Inviting Leaders of SAARC Nation: By inviting lheads of SAARC Nation, Modi government succeed in improving our relationships with neighboring countries which has hit low during UPA tenure. 2) Invitation to Heads of SAARC Leaders brought ACCHE DIN in the life of fishermen and their families. As a good will gesture Pakistan and Sri Lanka Govt released fishermen from their jails. 3) Ministers have been asked to prepare 100 days agenda for development. 4) for government by the people for the people, every ministry has been asked to have presence on social media. Take note of grievances and suggestions by the citizens. 5) 4 new hydro power stations to come up with the cooperation of Bhutan 6) SIT on Black Money 7) Introductory Meeting with Chief Secretaries of Various ministries 8) Restoration of Supremacy of Cabinet by abolishing of GOMs and EGOMs 9) No ban of e-rickshaw thus benefiting 1.5 lakh rickshaw drivers. 10) Defense Ministry has approved fast track road building along the disputed border with China. 11) approved establishment of New 50 posts in strategic position of India China Border 12) $2 million extension to the Karavar Naval Base in Karnataka. 13) Approved Radar station in the Andaman and Nicobar Islands to keep eye on Chinas activities. 14) NARMADA DAM : Long pending demand to install 30 gates on Narmada Dam, benefiting farmers was cleared by Govt in these 30 days. 15) HEALTH: Govt declared X-Ray, MRI, CT scans will be free of cost for poor at Government Hospitals. 16) Health Minister Dr. Harshvardhan is personally monitoring spread of Encephalitis in UP and Bihar. 17) Govt plans to plant 200 crore trees along National highway employing jobless youths under MNREGA Scheme, giving employment to 30 lakh youths across India. 18) Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has approved over Rs. 40,000 crore worth of projects. Has set target of building 30 km / day roads across India. 19) The HM instructed the MHA officials to address the issue of disparities in allowances given to CRPF personnel 20) Excise duty concession on auto and consumer goods to continue till December 2014 will help automobile sector 21) Blue print for cleaning of Ganga being prepared by government. 22) Approval of 12500 crore for building of high capacity inter-state transmission lines, the Ministry of Power 23) Changing working style of Bureaucrats. Bureaucrats are reaching in time in office, clearing files, getting offices cleaned, preparing presentations, no more golf. 24) Railway Fare Hikes : long pending railway fares were hiked. Although it was not happy decision but had to be taken as there was no fare hike in last 10 years. Railways revenue loss in passenger fares in 2001 was : 4500 cr 2004: 8,000 crore, 2008: 13000 crore, 2009-12 : 22000 crore and in 2012-13 : 24,600 crore... 14.5% rise in Passenger fare may seem to be bitter pill but certain harsh decision has to be taken. 25) Usage of Hindi + English : With the view of maximum citizens can connect with government, government handles on SM would be using Hindi / english language. 26) Providing 24x7 electricity : Power ministry is working on providing 24x7 power supply across the country. Power minister Piyush Goyal and his team studied Gujarat model and is holding meetings for same. 27) Strengthening State - Center relationship : As promised Modi Government is working in cordially with state governments creating Team India. 28) Foreign Relationship: Invitation to Heads of SAARC Nations, Visit to Bhutan, upcoming visit to UN, Invitation to visit US from US government, handling of Iraq crisis shows Modi government is moving in right direction. 29) Induction of 6 Women ministers in Cabinet - a step towards women empowerment. 30) Decision to implement Food security bill in states in next 3 months. In my knowledge the only Hard decision was hike in Rail fare. And please try to comment Logically so that we can have a discussion rather than an abusive fight
