BREAKING NEWS (KMVT): Boise police have arrested two people following a fatal stabbing outside a Boise Main Street Nightclub. Police say at 2:36 am this Thursday morning they were called to the Torch Lounge in the 1800 block of West Main Street. It’s there they found one man dead from injuries that appeared to be stab wounds. A second man had non-life threatening injuries and was taken to a nearby hospital. Witnesses tell officers the incident began with a fight over a cab. The deceased has been identified as a man in his 30’s from Hailey. His name has not been released by authorities. The second victim who sustained non-life threatening injuries is a man in his 20’s from Boise. Police say both victims knew each other. Identification of the deceased victim will be released by the Ada County Coroners office following positive identification and notification of the victims family. Witnesses told officers the suspects were last seen running on foot from the club. Several witnesses were able to provide officers with descriptions of the two suspects. A Boise Officer responding to the scene saw two men matching the descriptions walking in the area of North 28th and West Idaho Streets. The two men ran as the officer approached. Several other officers quickly set up a perimeter, securing the immediate area to prevent the suspects from leaving. A K9 from the Meridian Police Department also responded and was able to track the suspects. Officers soon found the suspects crouched down next to a nearby building and took them into custody shortly before 4:00 a.m. Parley L. Ward, 32 of Meridian and Phillip D. Law 30 of Boise have been charged with Murder and Aggravated Battery. They will be arraigned this Thursday afternoon.
