BROUGH Richard William “Dick” Late of St Johns Wood. Originally of Cairns. Passed away peacefully Friday 22nd August 2014, aged 99 years. Dick has re-joined the love of his life, his soul mate Enid with whom he shared a happily married partnership here on earth for 79 years. Subsequently, their relationship has now been re-established and will continue on into eternity. Dick leaves behind his loving children Joan, Maude, Royal and Victor. He also re-joins his loving children, Victoria, Dorothy and Lillian. Dick will be sadly missed by his 26 grandchildren, 38 Great Grandchildren, 10 Great Great Grandchildren and 1 great, great great grandchild. A special thanks is extended to Carol Spinks, Dick’s granddaughter for the love care and attention that she has shown him by putting her life on hold to care for Dick since Enid’s passing. At Dick’s request his family held a large but private celebration of life service for him in the Strathpine Park on Thursday 28th August 2014. After which Dick was privately cremated. Dick’s family offer their apologies’ to anyone who they forgot or could not contact to personally invite to the ceremony.
