BSBO teams up with Toledo Naturalists Association to celebrate National Moth Week with a FREE moth program. We did the program last year and it was so much fun! Thursday, July 24 at 8:00 pm Wintergarden/St. Johns Nature Preserve 615 S Wintergarden Rd, Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 In celebration of National Moth Week, TNA once again teams up with Black Swamp Bird Observatory and Bowling Green City Parks to explore after-hours Lepidoptera at Wintergarden Park/St. John’s Nature Preserve in Bowling Green. Kenn & Kim Kaufman, Sherri (Doust) Werdebaugh, Cinda Stutzman and Becky Cullen will be our hosts and leaders and theyll provide all the equipment we need to attract moths, including black lights, mercury vapor lamps, and moth bait. The fun starts at 8:00 p.m. with Kenn’s slide show on moths. Then we will head outside to see what critters have arrived at the bait and lights.
