BSHERT Dear friends, ‘BSHERT’---- when things and people that are meant to be come together and connect….I think BSHERT is the connecting thread of all of the events of this week’s Parsha—Chayei Sarah…..I therefore would like to send you over the next few days some BSHERT teachings, meditations , thoughts and poetry…. Blessings, yitzchak PART 1--Beshert Communication 1.Complete Receving Become an empty vessel…..become someone who has nothing of your own except what you receive from this person……in this spirit, receive completely and share with them what you have received and then switch roles 2. Bliss Bliss-ing See how your friend’s well being and tikun and healing is really your own as well …..help them to see how yours is theirs as well…..in this spirit, seek to create a relationship of bliss, based on your mutual shared joy as a result of all that you both achieve and become 3. Agreeing to agree Seek out any and every possible area of life that you can agree upon….Expand and deepen your mutually agreed upon revelations with each other….in this spirit, continue to explore and celebrate all the agreed upon realms that you share 4. Relating to who they are were and will be See the other person, now, as G-d sees them ---not only for who they are now, but who they were [resulting in who they are presently] and who they ultimately will be…..in this spirit, notice how you are constantly bringing out their best side and they will do the same for you 5. Truly putting myself in your place Step out of your own self perspective and step into the other person’s totally……notice how clear it becomes to relate to who they are and what they are feeling and saying…….in this spirit, relate mutually to each other, and notice how your mutual understanding constantly grows to higher and higher levels 6. Seeing and receiving their unique point See their unique ‘point’—the point that they possess in a way that’s different and unique than anyone ----the unique point that is lacking and needed by everyone else including yourself, in order to be more complete….acknowledge and celebrate with them this point, and then receive it and integrate fully into your being….share with them your unique point in the same way….in this spirit of mutual sharing, continue to explore and share with each other these and any other unique points 7. Sparks-ing—mutual exchange of lost parts of our souls Search for the ways that this person emanates energies, traits, messages and any other entities that you lack…..share with each other what it is that the other has that you lack…seek out ways to help facilitate a genuine exchange….in this spirit, continue to explore and provide mutual completions of each other 8. Soul Mate-ing---completing and complementing each other Explore how the two of you are two halves of a whole….seek out how whatever is missing in one, is found in the other….seek out the feeling of ‘returning home’ when you are with each other….in this spirit, constantly seek out how to complete each other and provide whatever the other needs for their personal Tikun and well being 9. Shlomo-ing—seeing another as being the very best in the world Relate to the other person as if they were the best , in their own unique way, that there is in the entire world----the best, the sweetest, the most precious….really see each other in this way and express it to each other….in this spirit , continue to connect, and notice how what you express, which may at first seem forced and untrue, afterwards truly becomes the way you feel and perceive 10. Creative artistic communication Relate to another person in unique creative forms of expression----in artistic ways that you normally don’t express in relationships…perhaps communicate with each other in poetry or or associative ideas or non-verbal expressions or in silence or in pantomime or in drawings or in an exchange of any other type of creative expression….in this spirit, continue to explore new and unique ways to relate to each other 11. Tomer Devorah’s Emulating Hashem’s Benevolence Emulate G-d’s trait of being benevolent……seek out the other person’s wellbeing in any way that you can despite any and all types of sub-standard treatement that you receive from them….empower yourself to meet their negativity with positivity---the worse they are to you, the better you are to them…..in this spirit, notice how the nature of this and all other relationships become transformed….notice how others become more and more benevolent with you as well 12. Bridge-ing you to the almost unbridgeable Seek out to bridge and connect another person to what they would normally not even think possible to connect to…..seek out to connect them to some aspect of reality that would do them a world of good…..in this spirit, continue to help each other mutually, and notice how the nature of such a relationship is one of expanding boundaries and healing 13. Turning me into We[2 or more people ] Reframe the way that you look at your relationship…..instead of seeing it as you and them, see it as we….see what happens to you as something that happens to us….consider the decisions that you make in light of the effect that they will have on us…..in this spirit, see how your relationship deepens and sweetens up , the more that you carry on seeing yourselves as WE 14. Truly conveying what we mean/want to say Say what it is that you really want to say…..get in touch with the most essence filled aspect of what you want—and express it…in this spirit, notice how you elicit the same essence-speaking from the one you are speaking to, and how eventually your communications and relationship penetrates to the most essential leve 15. Heart communications Express yourself straight from the heart [as opposed to the brain]….…allow yourself to spontaneously convey what it is that you feel…..speak in poetry…..speak from a place of love……sing or shout or whisper what it is that you feel [or any other way that your heart can best express itself]….in this spirit, notice how your relationships become more creative and truly expressive than it would be if you would always speak from the brain Blessings, yitzchak
