BULK BARN FOODS IS HIRING TEAM MEMBERS Job Purpose To oversee the growth and development of the Corporate Stores Team through effective management of human resources, financials, customer service standards and operational goals, all the while maintaining the high standards of the Bulk Barn brand. Duties and Responsibilities Strategic scheduling of team to maximize resources Timely review of all travel requests Monitor store camera systems weekly to efficiently assess store conditions and take necessary action Oversee the management of Corporate Stores payroll, ensuring numbers are in line with the target percentage for effective store management Analyze the results of the Standards of Operations Report and review with team and corporate store manager, creating a detailed action plan Review and determine proper product mix during seasonal changeover utilizing information gathered from the Product Range Reviews Review cash settlement, Cash over/short and document required action if necessary Review/approve all prebooks, ensuring effective inventory management Oversee and coach in relation to Hiring/Training HR responsibilities Inventory control including, efficient management of waste log and expiry program Build relationships with store managers and teams through quarterly store visits Performance reviews completed annually on all team members, on-going coaching and development as required Act as the liaison between store and store development, ensuring timely and costly resolution of any deficiencies Review cashier accountability reports, ensuring standards are consistently met Ensure effective communication at store level through the coordination of two (2) staff meetings annually Review of Sales, People count and Average purchase to be able to analyze metrics and gain a strong understanding of your stores Communicate weekly with managers via conference call Weekly summary to Regional Manager: Must include HR related issues, Financial results, Merchandising, Marketing and Facility Management analysis. Completion of weekly Summary “Corporate Stores” Must complete Monthly Territory Updates Review staffing schedules and approve prior to releasing Qualifications Outstanding leadership skills Ability to use Microsoft Office Ability to influence others 3 – 7 years retail/grocery management experience Proven record for driving training performance Demonstrates a successful roll out of a training process Inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to team lead
