Baby Lucas had the surgery yesyerday. It was a 4 hr procedure. Before he went yo surgery he had therapy. His mom states that the therapist placed an apple sauce in front of his nose. He moved yowards it to smell and looked like he wanted to eat it. These are very good signs that the brsin is telling him what to do.the doctor says that they are hopeful that is sight will return.the brain needs rest and time to heal. The shuntvis working as it shoild be and is helping him to get rid of the accumulated fluid. The shunt is only helping a little since the accumilation is not a lot of fluid. There is hope that the shunt will not be needed in the future and can be removed. Yay! Thank you God and all for your prayers. Please continue to pray. Thank you thank you thank you!
