Baby educational needs and capabilities? Just had a delightful and stimulating conversation with my good friend, Mike Rogers, who apparently is not only very well read (we already knew that) but quiet the expert on education for the youngins. About the absolute poison of tv and the tv culture on babies and small kids. We talked a bit about music, creation and such and then it was brought to my attention that Mikes young man is quite the boss on the piano -- tickles the keys like Elton John in his prime (see the absolutely stunning video clip below). The point of all of this is that we were all meant to Produce and Perform but society has now been almost permanently shackled and reprogrammed to Consume and Criticize. People are fighting, arguing and simply wasting their time about slavery, the holocaust, this and that justice and all sorts of this old genocide or that instead of seeing that weve never gotten to the root cause of it all nor will we probably ever. In each, case if you understood what really happened, the context and such the lessons are crystal clear. The solutions, the preventative measures ring clearly. What does all this mean? Continued underemployment and unhappiness at best for a huge majority people, abject failure and depressed at worst. Meanwhile, the children who are either exceptional (a rarity) or whom have knowing parents (even if the kids are normal), will excel and the wage gap, the happiness gap, the meaningfulness of life gap of such people vs the common core will continue to expand at an ever increasing rate.
