Hi Guys, apologies in advance for the essay....Im tentatively, potentially looking for a loan home for the mare described below, due to personal circumstances that have arisen. If the right person does exist out there somewhere, It would be a great opportunity for them to produce a really fantastic horse and either buy her later or sell her to a forever home. If thinking of applying, you will be vetted extensively and must be able to provide references. Ive spent a lot of time and money on this mare and she means a lot to me- I wont have her messed around. Please read carefully! Holmehall Purdy Brown. Aka Luna Lovegood. 16hh 6 Years old Dark Dapple Grey with black points. Welsh Part Bred Mare. Luna is an absolutely stunning little mare with naturally floaty, pleasing movement and a neat careful jump. She came to us from some dealers who realised she needed one to one training and lots of time to bring out her full potential. Before that she had been passed around from pillar to post- I cant seem to track down her previous owners so history is unknown and her passport is blank! Will do anything for a carrot/polo/apple and can be very OTT around feed time. We have spent a lot of time and money building up her weight and she seems to be maintaining that nicely now. Luna had previously not been taught about manners on the ground and was quite difficult to handle- this has now been rectified and she is a pleasure to deal with. She has a naturally inquisitive nature and is very curious about everything. Can be defensive around new people so she needs an owner who has the time to get to know her and gain her trust. She is very chatty and friendly once she knows you! Under saddle she is a dream to ride- very light in the mouth and nicely forward without being silly. She can also be left in a field for a week and you can get straight back on her with no fuss or bother. Currently undergoing re-backing and breaking so I can ensure her education is complete. She can currently be seen on the long reins but not ridden as I simply havent had the time in the last few weeks to get on her. She wont do much jumping with us as we dont jump any more. I have seen her jumping however, and she was very brave and careful. Jumping water trays and fillers without batting an eye, has also been XC and I am told she was excellent- anyone is more than welcome to take her XC to try, for a small fee. Unfortunately, Luna had a bit of an accident in the field a few weeks ago and I believe the scar will be a bit lumpy, so she wont be going showing! She is great to load and travel. Will suit anyone who wants to go out and have fun in any discipline, who has the time to spend fussing and cuddling. Forever homes only need apply. She can be seen at any time and tried as many times as is necessary to find the perfect home for her. Open to Vet etc. Please dont hesitate to call and ask any questions at all.
