Back in 1989, David Stanton was just another tall, dark-haired, good looking guy with a great physique, not at all uncommon in the City of San Francisco. Had it not been for the Loma Prieta earthquake and his taking the time to seek me out to express his relief that Id weathered the quake without any harm, we might not be married today! Ive heard this mornings quake was the strongest to have hit that area since the 89 one that brought David & I together. Im thankful all our families still in CA are ok and thankful for the reminder of how I met my husband. I chose this video to share because its the 1st song on a 100 song chronologic compilation CD I made for David years ago detailing the evolution of our relationship.
