Back in 2006 (Has it been 8 years??), I had the opportunity to be involved in a project in Bonavista that really intrigued me. A play!! I had joined the project with the idea of being the stage manager, but writer and director, Bruce Stagg thought that I should be on stage. I became the male lead, surrounded by a great bunch of very talented people. We did nearly 70 performances that summer. This is an excerpt from the DVD of the play -- From the Lips of Our People, a play based on the oral histories of the Bonavista area. This is one of my favorite scenes with the very talented Rowena Harvey playing my wife. I would love to do something like this again!!
