Back in Devonshirrrrre this afternoon after another fabby training course with Lavinia Mitchell LM Saddles and my fellow LM approved saddle fitter trainees from other regions. Left feeling excited to hopefully being another step closer to becoming the LM approved fitter for Devon and feeling inspired as always by Lavinia’s wealth of knowledge and expertise. Not to mention the tremendous impact that her saddling approach has on the horses and riders fortunate enough to benefit from it. Admin to catch up on this evening (I am on it to everyone waiting to hear back from me!), teaching and schooling at my own yard tomorrow, with several hours of teaching at Wembury Bay Riding school in between, then I’m off again in the small hours of Monday morning for a week of training at the Cumbria School of Saddlery to learn how to flock saddles. Saturday I will be getting my geek on at the Equine Spinal Dissection class with Gillian Higgins at Hartbury College, Sunday another full day of teaching, Monday I will be shadowing Lavinia in Devon, Tuesday … Finally a spare day to collect puppy and then COLLAPSE!! The more I learn, the more I realise how much more I have to learn but fortunately, the more I learn, the more I want to know :D (I am also very fortunate to be married to a wonderful man who is able to run the yard in my absence and carry on training my liveries for me whilst I am away, thank you darling!!)
