Back in Summer 2006 Exeter Farm (Glenfield) was acquired by HHT. Believed to have been built by Daniel Byran, Exeter Farm consists of two modest timber slab cottages dating from between 1810 and the late 1850s with site evidence suggesting c1820. The cottages were sold many times and at one stage were used as the clubhouse for a small nine-hole golf course known as Parklea Links. The Delaney family donated the cottages and their immediate curtilage to the Heritage Office in 1997 when the surrounding farmland was sold and redeveloped as a new residential subdivision.
