Back, not too long ago, people wrote letters that were hand-written, put into an envelope, and mailed to and from all points of the globe. I just found a half dozen hand-written letters in a copy of Ollie Raymonds book, Shingle Shavers and Berry Pickers. This copy was from my second parents, Sam and Ruth Parker, who had a cottage at the very end of Lake Street, past the pavement. Their home was in Port Huron. I lived with them while I attended college at SC4. Give these 2 pages a read. Capturing a little bit of Port Sanilac history in Ollie Raymonds own hand.
