One thing more about OP Nayyar ji. .he remained the only composer who the top without recording a single song in voice of Lata Mangeshkar ji. ..The song...ik to balam teri yaad sataye..( Aji Bas Shukariya 1958 ) was used in film Taxi Driver ( 1973 ) ....though music director of the film was OP Nayyar ji but this song of Lata Mangeshkar ji was originally composed by Faruk Kaiser n Roshan Lal... OP Nayyar Sahib worked with Shamshad Begum, Mahendra Kapoor n Hemant Kumar ji too. .. Paying tribute to OP Nayyar sir with my favourite song...
