Back online and ready to do my usual finger-pointing. OK, so this happened (read article below pls) and now there is some controversy in the Korean news over the exact family situation. Well .... no matter what the relationship was exactly, why on earth would you vote for this guy to be school superintendent in KOREA when his apparent solution to the education of his KOREAN children was to send them to the USA? (What is stunning is that escaping from the Korean public school system, for those that can, is so common and acceptable that it seems like the Korean news hasnt even noticed this situation of an education expert candidates choice for his children as fundamentally bad for a democratic society that needs to produce educated voters.) And now in the Korean news, as they are reporting daughters story (deadbeat dad who doesnt give a shit) vs. fathers story (everything was taken from me! I blame my ex! I tried to have a relationship with my kids!), they are also talking about how his second wife was sterile and for 10 years they couldnt have children, so they wanted to adopt, but his daughter from his first marriage opposed the adoption, so they didnt want to risk it. -- Oh, so you were a candidate for sainthood but your ungrateful lying daughter from your first marriage screwed that up for you too? You actually tell the public that your current wife is sterile? That puts me over the edge. Cry me a river. Just. Shut. The. F. Up. Jerk.
