Back to NY and here are my observations of LA vs NY: Los Angeles: beautiful, sunny, people are happy and nice and smiling, everybody seems zend out, great choice of vegan restaurants (HUGE plus for us), pace is much slower and more relaxing and no one seems pressed/rushed/stressed. In fact, only heard about 3 horns honk in a week...amaze balls! Now, on the flip side, that CONSTANT gridlock all day every day on that damn God awful 405 and everywhere else is the biggest buzz kill of life! I hate it! And yes LA people, it is much worse than NY bc we have trains and alternate ways to get everywhere we need to go! And I know youre gonna say you guys have mastered what times are best to go and what times are best to avoid but in my experience it is always traffic! Not as much to do, everything is spread out, places close earlier, you never feel like you are in the mix of where all the buzz is! But an ideal place to chill, relax, unwind, take it all in and enjoy life. NY: land of EVERYTHING, home of the universe, big papa of the world, access to anything you want whenever you want it. People here have more flavor, style and arent checking for the next person, just focused on getting where we have to go and doing our thing. Always jumping, exciting, interesting, fun. People are strident, ambitious, pressed, pushy, aggressive, aint-got-time-for-thatish, bout it bout it, no time for nice nice, smiley smiley! But will gladly help you if you ask for directions 😃. An inspiring place where you learn to appreciate the grind and the RickyRozay eeeerrryday Im hustlin mentality. Love that. Go get that world like a New Yorker! And when you burn out and need to spoil yourself, stop and smell the roses, hike a plane to LA! And stay out of the traffic! Lol! Net-net: love both places but for now NY wins! But will visit LA every year religiously for my fix!
