Back when I began this journey of running a marathon, I had no idea that ultimately this challenge would lead me to running a marathon in all 50 states. Along the way, I discovered many things about my own strengths, my own abilities, and my own desire to preserver above all else. I learned that there is always a way to make it work if you are willing to put in the effort. I made amazing friends who were on their own similar journey and was constantly inspired by their stories. I realized that I LOVE the running community and am so proud to be a member of this amazing community. It has been such a privilege to be associated with this amazing group of people. Because I love the running community so much, I decided to do the 50 states again. Thank you to all the Marathon Maniacs and the 50 staters and the 50 staters plus DC. Thank you to all the volunteers who make these races happen. This has been an eye-opening journey that I will always treasure and am delighted to be doing the circuit again. I hope to see you on the open road soon!
