Bandon/Sarsfield Interchanges Upgrade Progress Update The Bandon and Sarsfield Road traffic layout is in place as of 6.00 a.m. on Wednesday 24th July 2013. Motorists are urged to take particular care in the area over the coming days as the new layout becomes established. Motorists are also urged to comply with the temporary works speed limits in place in the area noting that An Garda Siochana will be on site monitoring traffic speeds in the works area. Diversion of mainline traffic onto the Sarsfield Road flyover will allow further ground stabilisation works required at the Sarsfield Road Roundabout and also in the area adjoining the Headlands Apartments to get underway. These works will commence after the August bank holiday weekend and will in themselves necessitate significant traffic management measures – details of these measures will be issued in the normal way in advance of the ground stabilisation works themselves.
