Bangalore and its nightclub scene have a had a tricky relationship over the last few years. In 2008, a curfew and dancing ban were put into place in Bangalores nightclubs and bars. After protests and reconsideration by the police, the dancing ban was removed, but the 11.30pm curfew lived on. Now, with Indias elections in full swing, the curfew has been extended to 1am, but only on certain days of the week and for just 3 months.
