Bank of America to donate Florida properties TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – July 11, 2014 – Bank of America has awarded more than 800 homes in Florida to nonprofit partners that support affordable housing and community stabilization; 240 of those homes were donated to nonprofits that support military service members, veterans and their families. The property donation program is an important aspect of our commitment to support our veterans and the communities where we work and live, said Mike Fields, Florida state president for Bank of America, in a release.
