Barb and I went to Appleton and Marshfield for my yearly check up and 4 GREAT days of shopping!!!! Had a blast but we are really getting older as things that didnt hurt when shopping before sure hurt this trip!! Of course each day was about 12 hours of on our feet, but in the good old days we could go 16 hours straight with a quick bread to eat and pee . We are a little slower but still champs at it. We had a rather unusual experience on the way home Tues. Just outside of Twin Lakes, pitch black, no moon, Barb starts really screaming and I see a deer straight ahead across my lane. I start to yell, hit the brakes, and then I see the baby deer straight ahead in the other lane!!!!!!!!!!! The car was steared around the mom and just past the baby!! I say it was steared because I do not beleive I was driving it at the time. After we got around them I said ok now and again felt under control of the car. People who dont beleive in God and Angels will think I am nuts, but we went around 2 deer, right there, so smoothly, and I was so so clam, that I know I had devine help. I shake badly and my heart pounds when I qam up0set or nervous and I didnt do either, during or after it The deer were so close to each other on the road that I dont think there was physical room to go in between them. Neither deer moved and inch during all this. My Uncle Tom had just told me last month to carry a rosary in my pocket when I drive and you wont hit a deer on the side the rosary is. I had it in my pocket on the left where the baby was. After I went around mom, the baby was right there on the left. I should have hit it, it was to close to miss. I am rambling because I feel so great about this. Moral--The ARE Angels out there, God really does love us and look out for us, and even though our faith can be sorely tested, as mine was in July, He is out there and can get us threw anything. Dig out those rosarys and carry them my friends!!!!!!!!!!!!! Love and prayers Linda
