Barbara Helen Lewis had her homecoming last evening. Here is her obituary with funeral information. Barbara Helen Lewis, age 80, of Tipton, IN died Wednesday, June 12, 2012 at Riverview Hospital at Noblesville, IN. She was born April 2, 1933 to the late Arnold Charles and Mabel Irene (Huffman) Redmon. She was a graduate of Jackson Central High School with the Class of 1951. She had worked for many years at Delco Radio at Kokomo, IN. Barbara was a member of Arcadia Church of the Brethren, Tipton Order of Eastern Star where she was a Past Worthy Matron, American Legion Auxiliary, Tipton Women of the Moose, Tipton Hospital Auxiliary, and the Retired Ladies Euchre Club. She greatly enjoyed being with her family and friends, communicating via Facebook, and playing Dominos. She married Billy Lewis on February 9, 1952. He survives her. Also surviving are three daughters: Colleen (Smoke) Starrett of Cicero, IN, Pam (Dave) Vanette of Cicero, IN and Terri (Bob) Dillard of Spring, TX, Sisters: Sandra (John) Fox of Tipton, IN, Mary Ann Stewart of Elwood, IN and Judy Knapp of Brownsburg, IN, grandchildren: Chad (JoAnne) Starrett, Andy(Melissa) Starrett, Amanda (Barry) Billman, Keri (Brandon) Day and Lindsey Dillard, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 15, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at Arcadia Church of the Brethren with Pastor Ben Poole officiating. Burial will follow at the Arcadia Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. also at the Church. Memorial contributions may be made to Arcadia Church of the Brethren.
