Barbara Vaughan McCabe (1928-2014) passed peacefully from this world on April 30, 2014 in the company of her oldest daughter. Barbara was raised in Lynn, MA, the daughter of Harriet Ellen Gibbins and Homer Weston Vaughan. She danced as a Radio City Music Hall Rockette under the direction of Russell Markert from 1945-1950. She was predeceased by her husband, Kevin James McCabe. She is survived by one brother, five children, eleven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren with one more on the way. A funeral mass will be offered at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, May 12, 2014 at Ss. Cyril and Methodius Church, 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY followed by interment at LI National Cemetery.
