Barnes is a stray at the Manhattan shelter who is down to his last night. He is on tomorrows euth list and will be gone at noon tomorrow unless someone Saves him. Please share and advocate for Barnes before it is to late... A volunteer writes: Barnes is a handsome young man who has a skin ailment which is thankfully being treated by our veterinarians. Barnes is well nourished though and knows his way around humans as he is quite sociable, walks well on the leash and knows a few basic commands. He seems also house trained marking his territory as well. Barnes loves treats and will jump or sit on command for them. He is quite greedy and owns such begging eyes no one could resist. He comes right away when called and settles next to me for a petting session. A little stop on my lap is a must as well as a kiss on my face. Barnes does not mind the eye of the camera or to be outfitted with a scarf or coat. Hopefully, his stay with us will land for him the opportunity to heal and mostly to find a loving master or family who will welcome him as their beloved forever best friend.
