Barrel(s): Today I give you .....*drum roll*...one oak whisky barrel cat house! I think this must be about the oddest barrel you are likely to find but I won it many years ago in a raffle and at the time, we did have 2 cats but neither of them would go near it. I thought it was too good to put outside anyway so it sat for many years in wir sitting room with all my Caithness glass on top but eventually the staves all dried out and it got so shuggly that I thought it might just collapse so put it outside in the hope that I could get something like garden planters made out of it but that never happened. To visualise it as the cat house you need to turn it on its side, the shelves at the back become the feet and the lid had been cut out to make a hinged door with a catflap cut into it :)
